People's Choice voting opens August 5th for The Lumen Prize.

The top 100 works of Digtial Fine Art have been selected and are now on exhibition online. The top 25 of this group will be chosen in August, and the winning works of digital art will tour the world.

Artists submit work created with electronic devices, such as smart phones, tablets, 3D printers and computers using apps, software or original coding. Each year, the winning works tour the world. As of spring 2015, the Lumen Prize has staged 14 shows around the world, including venues in China, the US, and across Europe.
From the top 100, 25 works will selected for the Lumen Prize Exhibition will be announced August 19th at ISEA Vancouver and will be in select ehibitions touring the world.
Finally, the Top Prize Winners will be revealed in a Gala Ceremony at The Frontline Club in London on September 24th which will be live-streamed.
The 2015/16 global tour will kick off in Shanghai, move to NYC, then London and finish at Wales' Iconic Caerphilly Castle in March, 2016.
Now in it's fourth year, The Lumen Prize Exhibition celebrates art created digitally by artists around the world. Its goal is to celebrate the power and potential of this exciting genre through an annual competition and global tour of works selected by an eminent panel of judges.
The Members of the 2015 Lumen Prize Jury Panel are:
Clarrie Wallis, London-based Tate curator and leading expert on contemporary art. Recent exhibitions included Tate's Richard Deacon (2014), Patrick Caulfield and Rose Wylie (2013), and Barry Flanagan: Early Works (2011). She has published extensively on art, including a monograph on Patrick Caulfield.
Douglas Dodds, Senior Curator in the Word and Image Department at the Victoria & Albert Museum. Recent exhibitions include Barbara Nessim (2013) and Digital Pioneers (2009/10). The V&A holds the UK's national archive of early digital art.
Tessa Jackson OBE, UK-based gallery director, curator and arts consultant; founding Artistic Director of Artes Mundi, Wales' International Visual Art Exhibition & Prize. Currently, CEO of Iniva, Institute of International Visual Arts, London.
Bruce Wands, Chair of the MFA Computer Art Department, Founding Chair, BFA Computer Art Department and Director of Computer Education, School of Visual Arts, New York, NY; widely-exhibited artist, author of Art of the Digital Age and Director of the New York Digital Salon.
Michael Fukushima, Montreal-based executive producer of the National Film Board of Canada’s fabled Animation Studio and prize-winning filmmaker who co-founded the NFB’s flagship emerging filmmaker program, Hothouse, in 2002.
David Pountney, CBE, Chief Executive & Creative Director, Welsh National Opera. A prize-winning director who has worked many of the world’s top opera companies, David has also directed numerous world premieres. David will be juding the 2015 WNO Lumen Performance Prize.
